The plant is established in 1964 in Razgrad, Bulgaria.
1964: Drouzhba has been established as a state owned company – member of BALKANCAR Holding, producer of fork lift trucks. Initially, the main activity has been production of pistons for internal-combustion engines.
1986: The company has purchased and acquired complete piston rings production license from the German company GOETZE Co. (Currently a subsidiary of FEDERAL MOGUL – USA). The license included complete know-how, OEM equipment and control devices.
1993: “Drouzhba” Co. is registered as a joint-stock company with capital of 204 895 BGN, equally distributed in 204 895 nominal shares with the par value of 1 /one/ BGN each
2001: The company has got International Quality Standard ISO 9001
2003: The company successfully started using ultra modern machinery line for machining of pistons, purchased by the leading Japanese company TAKISAWA Co
2005: Launch of a modern and sophisticated machinery line for casting of pistons for diesel running engines with Ni-resist inserts and salt cores, delivered by the Italian company FATA has been successfully implemented in 2005.
2006: The company has already finished the preparation stage for certification under the international quality certificate applicable for the suppliers of the automotive industry – ISO TS 16949.
2009: The company has got the international quality certificate applicable for the suppliers of the automotive industry - ISO TS 16949.
